Theirs are the names frantically whispered by scoundrels and swindlers. They come from below—the sea, the sands, the city—and wherever they surface, the legends follow. The lovely folks at Riot were kind enough to give us this follow up to the Guardians of the Ancient trailer we did with them before we'd even finished the first one, which is a good sign. As usual the beast machines at Sun Creature stepped up made a banger.
It's a tale about some overly confident secretive people that think they're pulling all the strings. Little do they know that all their plans are going to shit as the various characters from the various LoL underworlds rise up to mess with them. Ekko ends up humiliating them in a big pile by the end. We switched up the art style a little in this one, going for character designs that had a bit more of an old school Ninja Scroll inspired edge to them. The animation and colour detail team smashed out some complex character designs that had two shading passes to make them look extra awesome.
